A few thoughts

First, I'm VERY happy that the semester's over!!! 3 weeks of fun before I have to go back for Summer classes (not that the fun will stop then...), Suzanne's wedding's this weekend and then Tennessee with Andrew for a weekend! Back to back awesomeness!

Great Strides
Next Saturday I'm also doing the Great Strides walk for Cystic Fibrosis with DphiE's Metro Atlanta Alumnae Association (The MAAA). I came across this blog that a girl did through the last few years of her life fighting CF, and it's very powerful. You guys should definitely check it out: 65 Red Roses, and a CBC story about her death http://www.cbc.ca/video/player.html?category=News&clipid=1484276671. If you would like to donate to help fight CF, please do so at: http://www.cff.org/Great_Strides/TaraDemianyk.

Puzzle Progress

Me and Andrew bought a puzzle at Wal-mart over a month ago, and it has been sitting in the game room ever since. Then Becca came over Friday night after I bought her and Lauren dinner at the meal plan (I STILL have 10 credits to use...) and we decided to finally get around to starting it!

We got quite a bit done Friday night:

Tonight me and Lauren worked on it again, but it's SO big! I need to remember next time that we have a super small table, and should stick to 1000 pieces, not 2000... Oh well, here's tonight progress:

Oh yea, all of those pieces that were in the middle? They got in our way so they were banished back into the box... They didn't go with a colour theme, it's not my fault......

Appliances

Check out Lauren's post, You know you're an adult when... to see pics of our fun new appliances! She's really excited about our new "pretty" washer and dryer (that live in a closet...), but I'm more excited about our new stove!!!

Fyi, our old "ugly" washer and dryer are already living with Cassie & Kyla, but we're selling our old "ugly" stove and microwave. Just make an offer :)

Wow. Looking at the 2 pictures you can really see how much nicer our kitchen looks with the new appliances! And, just for reference, here's a shot from before we moved in... :)

OUCH!!!

My eyes are really itchy. Apparently I'm allergic to something in the air. Shocker, I know...

Andrew suggested that I put a cool damp cloth on my eyes, which helped a lot the other day, not so much today though...

Luckily Lauren had some drops I could use. They helped enough that now I can blog about my itchy eyes.
